I Am Feeling Christmassy To The Core!

/ On : 8:10 AM/ Thank you for visiting my small blog here. If you wanted to discuss or have the question around this article, please contact me e-mail at herdiansyah hamzah@yahoo.com.
As everyone knows, it's not really Christmas and doesn't really feel like Christmas until you see the Coca Cola adverts. You know the ones! Those ads with the big Coca Cola lorries and that fat bloke in the red suit with the white fur trim handing out those suave glass bottles that cost about twice as much as a regular bottle but taste about a million times better, or so we tell ourselves to reason with ourselves for spending the extra moolah.

Holidays are coming!

I had a great Christmas last year, but the problem was that it didn't feel like Christmas and I wasn't really in a Christmassy mood. It seemed to come and go, with the only evidence being some great gifts from my family, a really big meal and a couple of days of it being totally socially acceptable to be drunk in the middle of the afternoon.

I know exactly why it didn't feel like Christmas and I blame television. I didn't even once see the 'Holidays are coming' adverts. Not. Even. Once.
How do Coca Cola expect me to enjoy Christmas like a real person without giving me that feeling?!

He's climbin' in your windows, he's snatchin' your present up

I know it's bad to rely that heavily on a product that isn't even a Christmas product to put me in the spirit, but I think everyone I know judges how near Christmas is by those adverts. Oh, except for Sean, who for some bizarre reason uses the Toys 'R' Us adverts. What is that about?

Well at least I know this Christmas is going to feel like Christmas because I have officially seen the adverts! Twice! I am in such a good mood and I literally cannot wait for Christmas, I feel eight years old! I've even been listening to Christmas songs! Admittedly it's only been one, and it has been a parody by The Midnight Beast so I guess that probably doesn't really count..

But in the words of Noddy Holder;

"IT'S CHRIIISSTTTMMMMAAAASSSS!"
