The youngest in the Holmes family, Katie was born two months premature. This, her parents Martin and Kathleen believe, is the secret behind her strong-willed personality. We found evidence of it when Katie declined to attend the audition in Hollywood for the television drama Dawson’s Creek as her callback clashed with her school musical at Notre Dame Academy, an all-girl Catholic institution in Toledo.
